Presenting a rare and handsome piece of mid-20th-century German photographic craftsmanship: a vintage camera fitted with a bright 45 mm f/2.8 lens by the renowned German optics maker ISCO Göttingen. This fine example features the “Color Isconar” designation on the lens, a hallmark of ISCO’s legacy in precision optics.
Key Features & Highlights:
Lens: ISCO Göttingen “Color Isconar” 45 mm f/2.8 — a German-made optical gem collectors item.
Body: Vintage OGA/Edixa (or similar German make) rangefinder-style body, with metal and leatherette finish, and original strap + case shown in photographs.
Era: Likely from the 1950s-1970s, given the lens production period and body styling.
Condition: Good vintage condition with visible use consistent with age, lens glass appears clear in photos; body shows some surface wear and patina, adding to its character.
Why this piece stands out:
For lovers of analogue photography, this has a lens made by ISCO Göttingen known for their sharpness and historical provenance. The merging of such a lens with a German body of the era creates a camera that is not only functional (with proper servicing) but also aesthetically striking as an object of design. The combination of metal finish, analog mechanical controls, and leatherette wrap gives it a timeless presence.
Additional Notes for Buyers:
This item is offered as a collector’s piece rather than guaranteed for professional use, we recommend inspection or servicing if you intend to use it for film photography.
Vintage items may show signs of wear (surface scuffs, slight seals wear, shutter or light-meter may need checking), such wear is expected and part of the item’s history.
Shipping costs will be borne by the buyer as outlined in the general auction terms.

Given the strong lens brand and good visual condition here, a guide estimate is €200-€250
